Put Music From Mac To Iphone

To transfer music from a Mac to an iPhone, you can use iTunes or the Finder app, depending on your macOS version. Here are the steps:

Using iTunes (macOS Mojave and earlier):

  1. Connect your iPhone to your Mac using a USB cable.
  2. Open iTunes if it doesn’t open automatically.
  3. Authorize your Mac if prompted.
  4. Click on the iPhone icon in the iTunes interface.
  5. Go to the “Music” tab.
  6. Check the box next to “Sync Music”.
  7. Choose the music you want to sync with your iPhone. You can select specific playlists, artists, albums, or genres.
  8. Click on the “Apply” or “Sync” button to start transferring the selected music to your iPhone.
  9. Once the sync is complete, disconnect your iPhone from your Mac.

  2. Open Finder if it doesn’t open automatically.
  3. Select your iPhone under “Locations” in the Finder sidebar.
  4. Click on the “Music” tab.
  5. Check the box next to “Sync Music onto [Your iPhone Name]”.
  6. Choose the music you want to sync with your iPhone. You can select specific playlists, artists, albums, or genres.
  7. Click on the “Apply” button to start transferring the selected music to your iPhone.
  8. Once the sync is complete, disconnect your iPhone from your Mac.

Additional Tips:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes or Finder and that your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS.
  • Ensure that you have enough storage space on your iPhone for the music you want to transfer.
  • If you’re using a streaming service like Apple Music, you can also download songs directly to your iPhone for offline listening without needing to sync via iTunes or Finder.
